A Cross-Platform Application Framework
An application development framework for building applications that run on Google Android and Apple iOS devices.
The concept, and realization, of AppShell is to be able to write an application once and build for multiple platforms.
AppShell features include:
- Data-driven description of the user-interface. Instead of using Interface Builder for iOS, XML resources for Android, etc, the UI is described once.
- Vector graphics adjust to the various screen resolutions.
- UI appears native instead of exactly the same on each platform.
- Full support for maps, map annotations and overlays.
AppShell is currently available for developing Android and iOS applications. Development is ongoing to support OSX and Windows Phone 7/8.
